Croyez-moi : le Califat Européen est Arrivé

C’est avant tout, par ce que l’on ne peut plus faire, que l’on comprend que le califat est arrivé en Europe.

« Je ne sais pas si les États-Unis survivront sous une forme reconnaissable de mon vivant », déplore le grand dramaturge David Mamet, scénariste des Incorruptibles et d’autres classiques du cinéma, auteur d’un essai à retenir, intitulé : « Nous vivons une époque de changements terrifiants ».

Je sais, quant à moi, que l’Europe ne survivra pas sous une forme reconnaissable de mon vivant. C’est déjà une réalité.

Un jour, je me suis arrêté pour déguster une bière locale, la fameuse Stella Artois, sur la splendide place Oude Markt de Louvain. Un décor de carte postale : de magnifiques bâtiments datant du 17^ème siècle, la grandiose architecture du Brabant flamand, des cafés en terrasse, des avenues arborées, un ordre civique impeccable. À l'époque, Louvain avait même un maire blanc de gauche, un de ceux qui avaient troqué la lutte des classes contre l'ivresse du pouvoir, mais qui restaient attachés aux traditions de la « vieille Europe ».

Aujourd'hui, le maire de Louvain s'appelle Mohamed Ridouani. Toujours de gauche, il est musulman et vient d'interdire le match de Ligue Europa opposant le club belge de l'Union Saint-Gilloise à l'équipe israélienne de l'Hapoel Beer-Sheva, invoquant des « raisons de sécurité ».

« Nous ne pouvons garantir la sécurité », a déclaré le maire. Peu importe qu'un tiers de l'équipe israélienne soit composé d'Arabes (combien d'équipes arabes comptent des joueurs juifs ?).

Parallèlement, le syndicat belge des hôtesses et stewards refuse de desservir Israël. Il invoque des « raisons éthiques ».

Le réseau africain de Brussels Airlines comprend 18 destinations subsahariennes : des dictatures dirigées par des dirigeants au pouvoir depuis des décennies, des juntes militaires et des élections truquées. Burkina Faso : junte militaire après des coups d'État. Burundi : régime autoritaire. Cameroun : Paul Biya au pouvoir depuis 40 ans. Guinée : junte militaire. Ouganda : Yoweri Museveni au pouvoir depuis des décennies.

Croyez-vous que les braves Belges aient un problème à se rendre dans ces pays et dans tous les pays islamiques ? Non, car le Califat est déjà là.

Ils ont également annulé le match de football belgo-israélien à Bruxelles. Là aussi, il était « tout simplement impossible » de garantir la sécurité. Puis, des athlètes israéliens de frisbee ont été chassés de Gand, qui les a exclus d'un tournoi international pour « problèmes de sécurité ».

« Si l'on observe ce qui se passe en Belgique, il y a lieu de craindre l'émergence d'un émirat au cœur d'une Europe contrite, aveuglée par la culpabilité et la lâcheté », écrivait le romancier algérien Kamel Daoud, auteur de L'Affaire Meursault (Bompiani).

Le Califat n'arrive pas avec des drapeaux noirs sur les cathédrales. Il arrive par le biais d'institutions libérales qui appellent « inclusion » ce qui est, en réalité, une négociation permanente de leurs propres principes. « Bientôt un califat belge », commente la courageuse Belge-Marocaine Fadila Maaroufi.

Il ne reste plus qu'à trinquer à la fin de l'Europe avec une autre Stella Artois ?

- Quand le maire de Bruxelles fait la promotion de « Salaam Cola », le Coca-Cola halal, le califat est arrivé.

- Quand un imam se rend au Parlement pour réciter le Coran, le califat est arrivé.

- Quand le maire de la capitale déclare que « toutes les mosquées de ma ville sont aux mains des salafistes », le califat est arrivé.

- Quand on assiste à une reconstitution du 7 octobre avec des terroristes en keffiehs et en tenue militaire simulant des attaques meurtrières, le califat est arrivé.

- Quand on peut fonder un parti qui veut imposer la charia’h, le califat est arrivé. Mais c'est surtout par ce qu'on ne peut plus faire qu'on comprend. Quand on ne peut plus organiser de conférence d'intellectuels conservateurs et que le maire envoie la police comme sa milice privée pour en bloquer l'accès, soyez-en sûrs : le califat est arrivé.

- Quand on ne peut plus fêter Noël et Pâques à l'école, soyez-en sûrs : le califat est arrivé.

- Quand vous ne pourrez plus traverser certains quartiers sans voile, ni vêtements indécents, soyez-en sûrs : le Califat est arrivé.

- Quand vous serez condamnés à six mois de prison pour avoir déployé une banderole « Halte à l’islamisation » au titre d’« incitation à la haine », soyez-en sûre : le Califat est arrivé.

- Quand vous ne pourrez plus parler à l’école de l’Holocauste, du génocide arménien ou des moqueries de Voltaire envers la culture turque, soyez-en sûrs : le Califat est arrivé.

- Quand vous ne pourrez plus organiser d’hommages aux dessinateurs massacrés dans les musées, soyez-en sûrs : le Califat est arrivé.

- Quand vous ne pourrez plus entrer dans la plus grande librairie et commander un livre critiquant le multiculturalisme, soyez-en sûrs : le Califat est arrivé.

- Quand les Juifs quitteront certains quartiers et certaines villes, soyez-en sûrs : le Califat est arrivé.

- Quand vous ne pourrez plus porter la kippa, soyez-en sûrs : le Califat est arrivé.

Il est arrivé, le Califat. Soyez-en certains.

Mark my Words: Europe’s Caliphate has Arrived

“I don’t know if the United States will survive in a recognizable form for my generation," laments the great playwright David Mamet, the screenwriter of The Untouchables and other film classics, who has written an essay worth memorizing, titled: “This is a time of terrifying change."

I know that Europe will not survive in a recognizable form for my generation. It is already happening.

Once I stopped for a local beer, the famous Stella Artois, in Leuven’s splendid square, the Oude Markt. What a postcard: magnificent buildings dating back to the seventeenth century, the grand architecture of Flemish Brabant, outdoor cafés, tree-lined avenues, civic order.

At the time, Leuven even had a white left-wing mayor, one of those who had traded class struggle for the intoxication of power but who still practiced “old Europe."

Now the mayor of Leuven is named Mohamed Ridouani. He is still on the left, but he is Muslim, and he has just banned the UEFA Europa League match between the Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise and the Israeli side Hapoel Be’er Sheva, citing “security reasons."

“We cannot guarantee security," the mayor declared.

It does not matter that a third of the Israeli team is made up of Arabs (how many Arab teams have Jewish players?).

Meanwhile, the Belgian flight attendants’ union does not want to fly to Israel. They invoke “ethical reasons."

Brussels Airlines’ African network includes 18 sub-Saharan destinations: dictatorships with leaders in power for decades, military juntas, and sham elections. Do you think the good Belgians have a problem flying to those countries and to every Islamic country? No, because the Caliphate has already arrived.

They also canceled the soccer match between Belgium and Israel in Brussels. There too it was “simply impossible" to guarantee security. Then Israeli frisbee athletes were driven out of Ghent, which excluded them from an international tournament over “security problems."

“If we look at what is happening in Belgium, there is reason to fear the emergence of an emirate in the heart of a contrite Europe, blinded by guilt and cowardice," wrote the Algerian novelist Kamel Daoud, author of The Meursault Investigation (Bompiani).

The Caliphate does not arrive with black flags on the cathedrals. It arrives through liberal institutions that call “inclusion" what is, in reality, a permanent negotiation of their own principles.

“Soon a Belgian Caliphate," comments the courageous Moroccan-Belgian Fadila Maaroufi.

All that’s left is to toast with another Stella Artois to the end of Europe?

When the mayor of the capital Brussels advertises “Salaam Cola," the halal Coca-Cola, the Caliphate has arrived.

When an imam goes to Parliament to recites the Quran, the Caliphate has arrived.

When the mayor of the capital says that “all the mosques in my city are in the hands of Salafists," the Caliphate has arrived.

When there is a reenactment of October 7 with terrorists dressed in keffiyehs and military clothes simulating deadly attacks, the Caliphate has arrived.

When you can found a party that wants to impose sharia, the Caliphate has arrived.

But it is above all from what you can NO longer do that you understand.

When you can no longer organize a conference of conservative intellectuals and the mayor sends the police like his private militia to bar the doors, be certain: the Caliphate has arrived.

When you can no longer celebrate Christmas and Easter at school, be certain: the Caliphate has arrived.

When you can no longer walk through certain neighborhoods without a veil or in revealing clothes, be certain: the Caliphate has arrived.

When you are sentenced to six months in prison for displaying a banner that says “Stop Islamization" as “incitement to hatred," be certain: the Caliphate has arrived.

When you can no longer talk in school about the Holocaust, the Armenian genocide, or Voltaire mocking Turkish culture, be certain: the Caliphate has arrived.

When you can no longer organize museum tributes to massacred cartoonists, be certain: the Caliphate has arrived.

When you can no longer go into the largest bookstore and order a book critical of multiculturalism, be certain: the Caliphate has arrived.

When Jews abandon certain neighborhoods and cities, be certain: the Caliphate has arrived.

When you can no longer walk around wearing a kippah, be certain: the Caliphate has arrived.

It has arrived, the Caliphate. Be certain of it.
